Remember
that we are staying at a college and sleeping in dorm rooms. The
college will provide linens for the bed and bath. But you have to BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW.
The only dorms with air conditioning are Lower and Upper St. Regis
which have only single occupancy rooms. So if the heat bothers
you, you may want to bring a fan for your room. We will be using Lydia
Martin Smith dorm which will have double and triple occupancies and
common male and female bathrooms on each floor. Franklin and Essex
dorms are for double occupancies only but they have a private bathroom
in each room. There are no elevators in the dorms so we will try to
accomodate special needs. We will get your room assignments to you the
beginning of next week.
Registration
starts at 1 p.m. in the Joan Weill library on Aug. 11th. Check out time
is 11 a.m. on Sun. Aug. 14th. Each participant will sign a statement
indicating that they are responsible for missing or broken items. There
is a $150 lost key charge by the college.
The
college is located on a lake and they are providing canoes for
scheduled use in daylight hours (users must complete safety
orientation, sign release and waiver and wear life jackets) A fitness
center is also available during regular operating hours.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2 wks.
Should you get lost or you are arriving late, you can call me at (315) 790-7087.
Safe travels.
