We're so excited to welcome you to a magical weekend of fungi, learning, and community! Please read the ticket options carefully to choose the right one for you. Additionally, important info on payment options for the upcoming foray is shared below.
🚌 Full Foray Commuter Ticket
For attendees not staying on-site overnight. This ticket gives you access to all meals, presentations, workshops (additional cost), forays, and evening events — just no lodging.
You’re responsible for your own off-site lodging (hotel, B&B, or vacation rental).

🚗 Does not include overnight accommodations
🏨 There is a room block of 50 2-double bed rooms for $159/night at the Quality Inn, 356 Elmira Rd (Rt 13S), Ithaca, NY 14850, just 7.5 miles from Camp Comstock. To book, call (607) 272-0100-518 and ask to book under the Northeast Mycological Federation Group.
Accessibility note: There is no elevator, but there are only 2 floors.
Or feel free to book at one of the many other hotels, Bed & Breakfasts, and vacation rentals in the Ithaca, NY area. NEMF will be held at Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways Camp Comstock, 1419 Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca, NY 14850 to aid you in finding nearby accommodations.

Pitch your own tent or stay in a friend’s.

If you’re staying in someone else’s tent, please list that person as your “Troop Leader”, so we can keep track of how many tents there will be on site.

🏕️Bring your own gear for tent camping (tent, ground pad, sleeping bag, etc.)
🚿 Nearby bath houses with running water, flush toilets, sinks, and electricity.
🔌 There is no electric hookup in tenting areas
🛏 Full Foray On-Site Cabin Ticket
Stay in one of the rustic hillside cabins, complete with electricity, beds, and lake views. Connecting the 4 cabins in each village there is a deck and communal covered area with picnic tables and electrical outlets.

🛏 Shared cabins sleep up to 8 people in bunk beds. Bed dimensions: 31”wide x76”long, the size of an average camping cot. Top bunk is 5 feet above ground. Bring your own bedding, mattresses provided. Bring 2 curtains to cover the front and rear doors for privacy. Cabin size: 306 square feet.
🔌 Cabins have electricity and indoor/outdoor lights. There is one 2-plug outlet, bring a power strip.
🚿 Nearby bath houses with running water, flush toilets, sinks, and electricity.

Commuter, Tent, and Cabin tickets include Thursday dinner through Sunday breakfast, all presentations, workshops (additional cost), forays, and social hours.

Day Pass tickets for Friday or Saturday include breakfast, lunch, and dinner for that day, as well as access to presentations, workshops (additional cost), forays, and social hours.

Parking: There is a large grass lot when you first enter camp. Overflow parking is across the street at Cayuga Nature Center.

Transport to Forays: There will be school buses and vans. Please be on time.

Check-In on Thursday: Next to the grass parking area, in a row of lean-tos.

Check-In/Info Friday-Sunday: Porch of Comstock Lodge

This is a rustic camping/outdoor experience. Please dress for the weather and different times of day. We will be eating and watching evening presentations under a tent. Bring a flashlight for walking in the evening. This is a rain or shine event.

Onsite Campers: We suggest bringing a wagon to transport your belongings if you cannot carry them. If you need help transporting your belongings to your cabin/tent, we’ll attach luggage tags and make a few delivery trips. Attendee vehicles will not be permitted at the waterfront. Please do not bring food in your tent/cabin.

Camp Comstock exists on two levels. Parking is on the same level as the main entrance to camp. Meals, some programming, and access to tenting/cabins is at lake level which is down a hill. (.15 mile, 4 minute walk).

Cayuga Nature Center is across the street from Camp Comstock. (5 minute walk, .2 mile from Parking at Comstock.) Programming will happen on the second floor. There is an elevator past the reception desk.

If you require transport between waterfront, parking, Nature Center, we’ll have authorized vehicles making the trip.

Surfaces will be mostly grass, dirt, stones.

Bathrooms: There are 2 bath houses at camp, lake level. They have electricity, running water, flush toilets and showers. There are also 8 latrines (pit toilets) with hand sanitizer throughout camp. There will be a portapotty near the parking lot. The Cayuga Nature Center across the street has restrooms we can use during presentations.

NEMF 2025 Ticketing & Refund Policy
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of event planning and our commitment to keeping costs accessible for all, tickets are non-refundable except in the case of extenuating circumstances. These may include:

Documented medical emergencies

Family emergencies or bereavement

Other serious, unavoidable events (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
Please contact Paul Sadowski, Registrar at nemf2010@verizon.net with your request and any relevant documentation. All refund requests must be submitted no later than September 10, 2025.
Weather Policy
This is a rain-or-shine event. Most of our programming takes place outdoors, and attendees should come prepared with appropriate gear for a variety of weather conditions.
Refunds will not be issued due to weather forecasts or discomfort with inclement conditions. In the event of truly hazardous weather (e.g., flooding, lightning, or conditions deemed unsafe by organizers), adjustments will be made to the schedule or moved to sheltered areas as needed.
Ticket Transfers
If you can no longer attend and would like to transfer your ticket to someone else, please email the registrar, Paul Sadowski, at nemf2010@verizon.net by September 10, 2025. Transfers after this date cannot be guaranteed.
