Sale endedToothpick Process Workshop
Thurs 1-4pm with Harte Singer. Participants will learn to extract DNA and then set up a PCR reaction to amplify their DNA. Bring fungal material for DNA barcoding (fresh/dried mushroom or agar plates); each person will barcode up to 8 samples. Samples will be sequenced along with those from the foray and participants will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation after the event to discuss the results. Participants encouraged to donate their time during the foray to help with mushroom DNA processing.
